The data are approximate, the resulting resistance depends on the type and shape of parts and on the method of coating. Increase in the number of layers and the thickness will increase the resistance. For threaded parts, it is necessary to take into consideration tolerances of threads.

Advantages of DELTA – PROTEKT KL 100 compared with DELTA TONE 9000:

  • reduction of white corrosion
  • 25-39% higher protection in salt spray
  • more even coat

Advantages of DELTA PROTEKT VH 300 and VH 301 GZ compared with DELTA SEAL:

  • water diluteable dispersion
  • more environmental friendly towards solvents
  • reduced diffusion of moisture and corrosive agents makes it possible to reduce the total thickness of coats (threaded parts)
  • possible reduction of curing temperature (up to 80°C)
  • transparency
  • higher hardness of the surface

Disadvantage: for transparency reasons, only silver colour is possible from the base DT 9000 or DP KL 100.

Advantages of combinations of new types:

  • increased of resistance to salt spray to 1,000 hours
  • higher hardness of the coat and resistance to damage
  • fulfilment of car industry requirements for the value of coefficient of friction 0.13 ± 0.03 for threaded parts
