CORROSION PROTECTION COATING SYSTEM (former DELTA-MAGNI)
DELTA-TONE
Anorganic micro-layer system. Anorganic basic system with cathodic protection of surfaces, electrically
conductive (e.g. for EC coats) with high protective effects during the salt spray test according to ISO
9227, ASTM B 117-73 and DIN 50021). Colour: silver.
DELTA-SEAL
Organic microlayer system. An organic finish mainly for steel parts treated by DELTA-TONE coat, aluminium
or stainless steel.
DELTA-SEAL
Also serves for colour indication of surfaces, decreases and stabilises the friction coefficient, significantly
increases the results of salt spray test and during the Kesternich test according to ISO 6988 and protects
well against contact corrosion. It slows down the formation of white corrosion. The basic colour is silver
and black, in special cases red, light-blue, dark-blue green, light-grey, ochre brown and walnut brown
are possible. The types DELTA SEAL GZ are used for coating of threaded parts and contain microfine PTFE
for regulation and reduction of friction.
DELTA PROTEKT KL 100
Is an improved developing type of DELTA-TONE 9000 micro-lamella coat. With the thickness of the coat of
about 10 micrometers, using the type without Cr6+ it is possible to achieve corrosion resistance to red
rust during the salt spray test for up to 600 hours. Resistance against formation of white rust is also
higher. Curing of coats is carried out at the temperature of 180 - 240°C.
DELTA PROTEKT VH 300
Is a coating material on the basis of lithium-silicon-oxidic polymere which after curing creates on surfaces
treated by DELTA PROTEKT KL 100 or DELTA TONE 9000 a transparent layer which at the thickness of 2-4 micrometers
with the use of a barrier effect significantly reduce the corrosive effects of air moisture, oxygen and
corrosive agents on such treated steel parts. With the total thickness of combined coat of 12 micrometers,
the resistance in salt spray (DIN 50021) is increased to over 1,000 hours, which gives considerably higher
values than for the combination DELTA TONE – DELTA SEAL. Mechanical values of coats are also increased,
especially their hardness.
DELTA PROTEKT VH 301 GZ
Unlike previous materials, contains a sliding element, which after its application ensures a low and controlled
coefficient of friction. It is also used for coating of threaded parts and is used here in combination
with PROTEKT KL 100. Another advantage is that the necessary thickness of its coating is lower compared
with previous treatment, thus positively influencing in spatial terms the possibility of its application
for threads with small diameter or for exact threads.
DELTA PROTEKT VH 300 and VH 301 GZ
Are also suitable from of another environmental viewpoint, since they are dilutable in water. Curing can
be carried out at the temperature from 80°C. Their barrier efficiency remains high even increased temperatures
and, for example, their long-term ability to withstand the temperature of 200°C improves their barrier
effect by further cross-linking of the coat. This creates preconditions for their application also in
engine space and the area of car brakes, where there is high thermal stress.
